Welcome to the official website of Shenmo Education Rwanda (“we,” “us,” or “our”), available at shenmoeducation.rw and related pages on this Site.

Please read these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) carefully before using this website (“the Site”). By accessing and using the Site, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to any part of these Terms, please stop using the Site immediately.

1. Privacy and information

Most pages on this Site are informational. You can browse them without providing personal data. We collect personal information only when you voluntarily submit it—for example through our contact form—so we can respond to your inquiry.

2. Intellectual property

Content on the Site—including text, graphics, logos, images, videos, and related materials—is owned by Shenmo Education Rwanda or its content suppliers and is protected by Rwandan and international copyright and related laws.

You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, transmit, display, or use Site content for commercial purposes without our prior written consent, except as allowed by law (for example fair quotation with attribution for non-commercial news or personal use).

3. Use of the Site

You agree to use the Site only for lawful informational and contact purposes related to Shenmo Education Rwanda’s Abacus Mental Math programs, Training Center, school partnerships, and community activities in Rwanda.

You must not use the Site in any way that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair our servers or networks, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Site, accounts, systems, or networks.

4. Disclaimer of warranties

The Site and its content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Shenmo Education Rwanda does not warrant that information on the Site is always complete, accurate, or up to date, or that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

Program details, schedules, competitions, and partnership opportunities may change. For current enrollment or school partnership information, please contact us.

5. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by the laws of Rwanda, Shenmo Education Rwanda and its team shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of—or inability to use—the Site.

6. Third-party links

The Site may link to third-party websites or platforms (for example YouTube, social media, maps, or news coverage related to our Journey). Those links are for convenience only and do not mean we endorse the third party. We are not responsible for their content, privacy practices, or availability.

7. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted means you accept the revised Terms.

8. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Rwanda. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the Site shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Rwanda, including in Kigali.

Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Shenmo Education Rwanda collects, uses, and protects personal information when you visit this website. We aim to handle your information carefully and only as needed to run the Site and respond to you.

1. Information we collect

We collect personal information in limited situations:

• Contact form. When you submit the contact form, we collect the details you provide—typically name, email address, phone number, your role (for example parent, teacher, or school leader), subject, and message—so we can reply about enrollment, Training Center schedules, school partnerships, competitions, or other requests.
• Essential session data. When you use the contact form on pages that support it, the Site may use a short-lived session (including a security token) to protect the form from abuse. This is not used for advertising.

You can browse informational pages without submitting personal data.

2. How we use your information

We use information you submit to:

• Respond to your inquiries and follow up as needed
• Communicate about Shenmo Education Rwanda programs, classes, partnerships, or events you asked about
• Protect the Site and contact form from spam and misuse

We do not use your contact details for unrelated marketing without your clear consent.

3. Cookies and similar technologies

Unlike some Shenmo sites elsewhere, this Rwanda website does not use a language-preference cookie or marketing/tracking cookies for that purpose. We do not place cookies solely to track you across other websites.

The contact form may rely on an essential server session for security (CSRF protection). Your browser settings control cookies generally; blocking all cookies or sessions may affect form submission.

4. Data security

We take reasonable technical and organizational steps to protect personal information we receive, including limiting access to people who need it to respond to you. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Data retention

We keep contact messages only as long as needed to handle your inquiry and any reasonable follow-up, or longer if required by law or legitimate operational needs. Session data for form security is temporary.

6. Your rights

Subject to applicable Rwandan law, you may request to:

• Access personal information we hold about you from the Site
• Correct inaccurate information
• Ask us to delete information we no longer need for the purpose you contacted us
